QPR Training provides life saving skills

Rural mental health care is critically important. Being trained to recognize the signs of mental health struggles in our friends and family members can save a life.

Join Montana Farmers Union for a QPR for suicide prevention training from noon to 2:30 p.m., Jan. 22, at the upper board room at MFU’s Great Falls office, 300 River Drive.

QPR is a suicide prevention training for participants to be able to recognize the warning signs of suicide and question, persuade, and refer people at risk for suicide for help:

  • save lives
  • reduce suicidal behaviors
  • empower individuals to reach out and help someone in need.
  •

This free workshop is open to MFU members, friends, and community members. Lunch and beverages provided courtesy of MFU.

RSVP appreciated to MFU Ambassador Jodi Koterba via email or at 406-788-8816.
